'Only sociopaths hire skywriters': Lena Dunham slams Shia LeBeouf on Twitter
SEEMS Lena Dunham is not impressed by Shia LeBeouf’s recent skywriting apology, after she tweeted that "only sociopaths hire skywriters.”
SEEMS Lena Dunham is none too pleased over Shia LeBeoufÂs recent skywriting apology (prompted by plagarising the work of artist Daniel Clowes), and she let the actor know via Twitter.
“I've always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters,” wrote Dunham.
Not to be outdone, LeBeouf quickly retweeted Dunham’s comment and added his own. “I don't mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don't want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world,” he wrote. “I can barely remember all the things I've done & said. However there's no excuse 4 skywriting.”
The Girls creator responded: “Vaguely recognised Shia Labeouf's latest twitter apology and realised it was MINE! Touché, Louis Stevens,” she quipped. “Projecting a lot of rage against my 7th grade boyfriend on LaBeouf. Think this is the start of something really productive #2014.” (Louis Stevens is the Disney character LaBeouf played on the TV series Even Stevens in the early 2000s.)

Last month, LaBeouf copped some flak when it was discovered that he plagiarised parts of the short film he directed, HowardCantour.com, by using parts from Clowes' 2007 graphic novella, Justin M. Damiano.
