Nicola Peltz explains ‘weird’ wisdom tooth necklace from Brooklyn Beckham

Brooklyn Beckham and his fiance Nicole Peltz wear each other’s wisdom teeth around their neck — now Pelta reveals where the idea came from.

Forget pearls of wisdom — Nicola Peltz prefers teeth.

Almost a month after the 26-year-old actress and fiance Brooklyn Beckham started wearing each other’s gold-dipped teeth as necklaces, she revealed that the “weird” idea came from her mum.

“If you guys are wondering what this is — this is so weird — but this is Brooklyn’s wisdom tooth,” Peltz said during a tutorial for Vogue’s “Beauty Secrets” series.

“My mum had my wisdom tooth from like five years ago, which is very bizarre, in her closet. So I did the same for him. He wears mine and I wear his,” she shared.

“All of our wisdom stuck in a tooth.”

Peltz credited Los Angeles-based jeweller Anita Ko with transforming the pearly whites into gold-plated pendants following 22-year-old Beckham’s wisdom tooth extraction.

“I just finished filming a movie and Brooklyn’s teeth were really bothering him … He was the set photographer on my film,” she recalled. “We were trying to figure out when a good date was [to get his wisdom teeth out]. It was right before his birthday.”

The tooth pendant seems to have given Beckham something to smile about, as the photographer called it the “the best gift from my best friend” in an Instagram Story in March.

Peltz’s mum isn’t the only family member inspiring the couple’s style, as they both swear by her future mother-in-law’s Victoria Beckham by Augustinus Bader Cell Rejuvenating Priming Moisturiser.

“Brooklyn — guys are so annoying, they have, like, perfect skin. They don’t have to do anything to their skin. But he does use this,” Peltz said of the hydrating formula.

It seems glowing skin runs in the family, as she also gushed about the 47-year-old former Spice Girl’s natural beauty.

“She has the best skin,” she said. “She eats so healthy and she drinks a lot of water … She’s just naturally perfect.”

In addition to wearing a Victoria Beckham dress for her engagement photos and sporting the designer’s “Brooklyn” T-shirt, Peltz plans to walk down the aisle in one of her future mother-in-law’s designs.’’

The young couple confirmed their engagement in July and have since celebrated their bond with a series of tattoo tributes. Beckham has at least five tats dedicated to his future wife, ranging from a huge back tattoo to a portrait of her eyes and her late grandmother’s name.

Peltz debuted her first tattoo dedicated to her fiance this month, inking his name on her upper back.
