THE full extent of Molly Meldrum’s injuries after his fall in Thailand have been revealed, after he slipped while getting out of a taxi.
MOLLY Meldrum cracked four ribs and dislocated his shoulder in his Thailand fall.
The full extent of the music icon’s injuries were revealed after an X-ray and medical attention.
Meldrum slipped getting while out of a taxi at his Thailand hotel on Sunday night.
He is now in a Bangkok hospital for the next few days as he recovers from the accident.
“I’m a walking disaster,” Meldrum, who turns 73 next week, said after the incident.
The latest injuries follow Meldrum’s 2011 fall from the roof of his house.
Meldrum was placed in an induced coma after that accident, which lead to a serious head injuries as well as a fractured skull, ribs, shoulder blade, vertebrae and collarbone.
The ladder fall is depicted in Channel 7’s new miniseries Molly, which airs in early February.
Samuel Johnson portrays Meldrum in the heavily-promoted two part series.
Meldrum went to Thailand to avoid the hype around the program which has also spawned a hit compilation album.
