Miley Cyrus reveals anxiety over split with Liam Hemsworth in new Elle interview
MILEY Cyrus has opened up about her “anxiety” over her breakup with Liam Hemsworth, saying she feared she would die without a man.
MILEY Cyrus says she suffered Âanxiety over her breakup with ex Liam Hemsworth and that she once Âthought she would have died without a boyfriend.
The 21-year-old made the comments in a new interview with Elle.
She and the Aussie actor were engaged during the time she shot to fame on the Disney show Hannah Montana.
She told Elle: “When I went through a really intense breakup — you know, I was engaged, and when I was with [Liam] or when I was on Disney, the thing that gave me the most anxiety was not knowing what to do with myself when Disney wasn’t there to carry me anymore or if I didn’t have him.’
She said she now feels happy to be alone.
“Like, I lay in bed at night by myself and I’m totally okay,” she said.

“That’s so much stronger than the person three years ago, who would have thought they would have died if they didn’t have a boyfriend.”
Cyrus’ revealing interview came after she opened up on Twitter this week about the death of her dog.
She said she was “broken” after finding out the dog, Floyd, had died while she was on tour. She later performed a song to an inflatable dog as an homage to Floyd.
