MICHELLE Obama got in Formation with others including Kelly Rowland, Blue Ivy and Serena Williams to dress as Beyonce for the singer’s birthday.

BEYONCE’S friends sure know how to make a girl feel special — with a group including Michelle Obama dressing up as the singer for her 36th birthday.

The singer shared images of her friends paying the ultimate tribute, decked out as Mrs Carter from the Formation video clip.

Those who tipped their hats to Beyonce included former Destiny’s Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Jay-Z’s mum, Gloria Carter, new mum Serena Williams and even the singer’s daughter, Blue Ivy.

Alongside the photos was a link to the singer’s BeyGOOD Houston initiative, which will help with long-term revitalisation and aid after Hurricane Harvey in her hometown by supplying beds, blankets and pillows, baby products, feminine products and wheelchairs in the wake of historic flooding.
