Meadow Walker doesn’t speak to relatives of her late father Paul

After losing her Fast and the Furious star father in a horror car smash at 14, Meadow Walker is allegedly estranged from his family.

The daughter of the late Fast and Furious star Paul Walker does not speak to her dad’s family after “shutting them out”.

According to The Sun, the Walker family are heartbroken that they’ve been cut out of Meadow Walker’s life — and wish things were different, a close family source said.

Meadow was just 14 when her dad died in a shock car crash during the filming of Furious 7 in 2013.

He was killed when the car he was passenger in smashed into a tree in Valencia, California.

Meadow was very close to her dad - but has not spoken to his family in some time, according to the insider.

“The family are heartbroken about the whole thing — it brings them to tears just thinking about it,” the source said.

“Meadow doesn’t talk to Paul’s brothers Cody and Caleb or their mother — she’s shut everybody out — she doesn’t talk to anyone in the family.

“They still believe that time is a great healer and they will all be there with open arms if she ever does decide to make contact.

“But it is still really tough for them and they hope one day it changes.”

Meadow, 20, is believed to be living in New York now where she is an aspiring model.

Even though she grew up with her mum in Hawaii, she was close to her dad and often posts poignant pictures of them together on her Instagram.

In a 2018 documentary about the actor, Paul’s family told how close the father and daughter were, with his dad Paul Walker III saying: “No father loved a child more than he did Meadow.”

Meadow had moved to California and was living with her father when he tragically died.

The source said that although the Walker family are heartbroken that they are not a part of Meadow’s life — they have no anger towards her and understand she has dealt with a lot over the years.

“They know she went through a lot at a young age — it’s hard enough to lose a father but to lose a father who was a huge movie star, she already had to share Paul with the world when she was growing up,” the source added.

“Then he died when she was just a teenager, when she had just started a new school.

“She had just started living with Paul at the time after living with her mother and had really started bonding with him - so it was really horrible for her to have to go through that.

“The shock was hard to deal with for the older members of the family — never mind a 14-year-old.

“They know she’s grown now and she’s pursuing her dreams of being a model in New York and they wish her all the best with that.

“They just hope one day they can be a part of her life again.”
