Kim Kardashian’s best friend Jonathan Cheban attacked by stranger at sushi restaurant

WITH only a few days to go until Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s wedding, Kim’s close pal Jonathan Cheban has had a violent run-in with a stranger at a Brooklyn restaurant.

E! News is reporting that Cheban, along with three friends and a security guard, was dining at a sushi bar when he was harassed and screamed at during dinner.

“While Jonathan and his group were eating, a man entered the restaurant and started yelling for him,” an onlooker said.

“He was screaming, ‘Cheban! Cheban! I came here to talk to you!’ His eyes were huge and he had a large pocket knife hanging off his belt — it was really scary. He looked like a stalker.”

It is thought the attacker tracked Cheban down after seeing his Instagram post below, which revealed his whereabouts.

The caption reads: “Live shrimp are back in season woohoo. Dinner time @SushiCouture oh and Michael Jackson Billboard awards was f**king insane!!!!!!!”

Cheban’s security guard was forced to punch the man to keep the reality star from being attacked as they attempted to leave the restaurant at around 11.30pm.

“The security guard had no choice,” said the source. “He punched the stranger in the face and hustled Jonathan out of there.”

This isn’t the first time Cheban’s Instagram posts have landed him in danger. In August 2013 the star was roughed up by a thug who tried to steal his $500,000 watch after he posted a photo of his bling during lunch.

With Kim currently in Paris preparing for her upcoming nuptials, no doubt Cheban will be joining her and the rest of the Kardashian family very soon.
