Kanye West’s public meltdown about Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner

Kanye West is dropping a series of bombshells about his famous family on social media, publicly accusing them of trying to lock him up.

Kanye West: Was his presidential rally a cry for help?

In a series of explosive tweets, Kanye West has accused his wife Kim Kardashian and mother-in-law Kris Jenner of trying to “lock him up”.

Kanye, who has bipolar disorder, sent a flurry of disturbing tweets from his ranch in Wyoming today.

In a since deleted tweet, he addressed his wife and mother-in-law directly, writing simply: “Kris and Kim, call me now” before posting a screenshot of a text message to Jenner, in which he accused her of “avoiding” his calls.

In separate tweets, Kanye also compared his life to the movie Get Out — a movie about an African-American man who is brought to his white girlfriend’s family home and uncovers a series of disturbing details about them — and called out Jenner for her handling of his wife’s sex tape and Playboy shoot.

Over an hour after they were first posted, he deleted every tweet.

In a separate tweet unrelated to his wife and family, he wrote “NBC locked up Bill Cosby”, seemingly in support of the convicted sex offender.

It is the second time Kanye has publicly suggested the disgraced US actor and comedian is innocent, after he infamously tweeted “BILL COSBY INNOCENT” in 2016.

Cosby was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault and sentenced to three to ten years in prison in September 2018.

An hour later, the rapper seemed to round out his explosive tirade, simply writing: “Ima focus on the music now.”

He followed up with the track list from his upcoming album, DONDA, to be released on Friday.

BIPOLAR DISORDER

Kanye West has previously confirmed in interviews that he has bipolar disorder.

In 2018, the cover of his Ye album featured the line: “I hate being bipolar. It’s awesome.”

He later said in an interview: “I had never been diagnosed until I was 39. But like I said on the album, it’s not a disability, it’s a superpower.”

Speaking to Vogue in 2019, Kim Kardashian spoke about her husband’s struggles and said he wasn’t on medication.

“For him, being on medication is not really an option, because it just changes who he is,” she said at the time.

“Right now everything is really calm. But we can definitely feel episodes coming, and we know how to handle them.”

Kim said in the same interview: “I think some of the hurtful things that I read online: ‘What is she doing? She’s not stopping him …’ Like it’s my fault if he does or says something that they don’t agree with?

“That’s my husband,” she said. “I share every opinion that I have and let him know when I think something’s wrong. Or if it comes to him being in the middle of a bipolar episode, I’ll do everything to be supportive and help to calm the situation.”

In an interview with David Letterman, Kanye once explained what it was like to go through an “episode”.

“When you’re in this state, you’re hyper-paranoid about everything,” he said.

“Everyone — this is my experience, other people have different experiences — everyone now is an actor. Everything’s a conspiracy. You feel the government is putting chips in your head. You feel you’re being recorded. You feel all these things,” he continued. “You pretty much don’t trust anyone.”

KIM NOT SURE HOW MUCH SHE CAN TAKE

The Twitter meltdown comes amid reports Kim Kardashian is at the end of her tether and “doesn’t know how much more she can take” of the “public embarrassment” brought upon her family by Kanye West’s bizarre campaign for presidency.

An insider told The Sun the reality TV star was “shocked beyond words” and deeply “concerned” about her husband after his latest rant during a rally in North Carolina, in which he divulged intimate details about their decision not to abort daughter North, 7.

“(Kim) had the pills in her hand,” a crying West told the crowd on Monday.

“My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. I’m a rapper. And she said, ‘I’m pregnant.’ She was crying.”

He added: “I almost killed my daughter.”

According to a source, Kardashian is desperate to keep her family together – but doesn’t know how much more she can take.

“Kanye’s friends and family are concerned about him. They have seen this erratic behaviour before and ultimately fear a breakdown,” the insider told The Sun.

“This is very difficult for Kim. In addition to worrying endlessly about Kanye, she has to deal with the constant public embarrassment of him making claims about what’s left of her private life.”

The source went on to claim that “much of the reality on his speeches seems to be created or made up” and that, realistically, the Kardashian family knows he won’t run for president.

“When his erratic behaviour starts, he listens to no one,” the source said.

“While Kim has considered a separation in the past, at this point she wants to continue to support her husband.

“Kim is torn apart inside and worries that her children are getting old enough to be affected by their father’s troubled behaviour, but she loves Kanye and ultimately is concerned for his health.”

There was widespread confusion last week after conflicting reports surfaced over whether or not West still intended to run in the November election.

On Thursday, just a day after it was widely reported he’d called off his bid to become the next US president, TMZ revealed that he’d filed Form 1 – the Statement of Organisation – that says the Kanye 2020 committee will act as the “Principal Campaign Committee”.

The form lists his party as “The Birthday Party”, the banner he said he’d run under in his bid for president.

However, TMZ noted that he had yet to file Form 2 – Statement of Candidacy – that confirms that he’s raised or spent more than $5000 in campaign activities, which triggers his candidacy status under federal campaign laws.

The surprising development comes a day after a report in New York Magazine’s Intelligencer, in which a member of the rapper’s campaign team, Steve Kramer, confirmed that “he’s out” of the 2020 race.

While Kramer didn’t specify West’s reasons for allegedly withdrawing, he said he’d “let (Intelligencer) know what I know once I get all our stuff cancelled”.

Earlier this month, West made headlines around the world after announcing his surprise bid for the White House in a tweet.

“We must now realise the promise of America by trusting God, unifying our vision and building our future. I am running for president of the United States! #2020 VISION,” he wrote.

He later confirmed his intention to run for president of the United States this year, comparing himself to “special” former leaders.

In an interview with Forbes magazine published just days later, the rapper withdrew his support for current US President Donald Trump, with whom he has staunchly aligned himself in recent years and previously described as a “hero”.

West also revealed he was running as an independent under the banner of “The Birthday Party”, and said he had no problem with the fact his campaign for presidency could take votes away from Joe Biden, insisting the Democratic nominee was “not special”.

“I’m not denying it, I just told you,” West said. “To say that the Black vote is Democratic is a form of racism and white supremacy.

“I’m not saying Trump’s in my way, he may be a part of my way. And Joe Biden? Like come on man, please.

“You know? Obama’s special. Trump’s special. We say Kanye West is special. America needs special people that lead. Bill Clinton? Special. Joe Biden’s not special.”
