Katy Perry now chimes in to throw shade at Taylor Swift

Katy Perry reinforces the fact she probably won’t ever be Taylor Swift’s BFF with her latest Twitter comment.

KATY Perry couldn’t resist adding her two cents after her rival Taylor Swift got into a tiff with another pop star.

Perry tweeted the following on Wednesday:

The comment came on the heels of a short scuffle between Swift and Nicki Minaj on Tuesday. Minaj made a snide comment toward MTV after she wasn’t nominated for the VMAS’ Video of the Year award.

“When the ‘other’ girls drop a video that breaks records and impacts culture they get that nomination,” she wrote.

They’ve had bad blood for a while.

It’s a pop star face off.

Swift up for nine MTV VMA awards — assumed the tweet was directed toward her nomination and went on the defensive, saying, “I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other.”

Minaj then clarified that she didn’t mean it as a jab toward the 25-year-old pop singer.

Even though the tiff between Minaj and Swift ended as quickly as it began, the rivalry between Perry and Swift is still going strong.

Last year, Swift announced that her song “Bad Blood” was about a female artist who stole her tour dancers right out from under her.
