Former British glamour model Katie Price has revealed she was raped when she was just seven years old, as she opened up about her PTSD.

Former British glamour model Katie Price has opened up about being raped when she was just seven years old.

The 42-year-old mother-of-five spoke to Irish DJ/broadcaster Annie Macmanus on her podcast, Changes with Annie Macmanus, where she talked about the horror incident and how it played a part in developing issues with men later in her life.

“My thing that’s always been wrong in my life is men. That is from an early age,” she said.

“I was raped as a kid. At seven. That is in my first book. I was in a park.”

Price, a former model who was married to Peter Andre, first revealed the incident in her autobiography, Being Jordan, in 2004.

She added: “My mum has had this constant all the time. My dad left, although I can’t remember … (but) subconsciously your mind remembers everything. It is there.

“So (therapists) worked out the reason I jumped in and out relationships … It is not wanting that father figure. They always let me down. That has been my trouble in life, it is to do with men.”

During the podcast episode, Price recalled other incidents that had contributed to her trauma, including her experience with a photographer who took indecent pictures of her when she was 12.

“I got involved with this photographer who ended up being in prison,” Price said.

“He was obsessed with me. He took indecent photographs that I thought were innocent at the time. I was 12.

“He made me do pictures where I was sticking my tongue out. They looked young and girly but to him … It is sexual.

“He used to make these milkshakes. I never took one because I didn’t like it.

“That’s what he did he made the girls drink them and he drugged them.”

It comes after Price revealed last year she was sexually assaulted at gunpoint in front of her children during a carjacking in South Africa in 2018.

“Six men attacked us after we stopped because my son Junior needed a wee,” she said at the time.

“We should never have been allowed to make that journey without security.

“It was like something from a horror film. This big man in an Adidas hoodie was shouting in my face, swearing and demanding I give him everything. And he was touching me down below.

“I grabbed a pillow and launched myself in front of the kids, trying to protect them, waiting for a bullet to hit me. I thought I was going to die. Police said it was a miracle they didn’t kill us.”

After the incident, she spent time in a ­Priory rehab clinic, where she was diagnosed with PTSD.

Price is now in a relationship with British reality star, Carl Woods, who appeared on the UK version of Love Island.
