Kate Fischer hits out at ‘sell out’ claims after racy New Idea lingerie shoot

After stripping down to just her lingerie for a women’s magazine, former model Kate Fischer has had to defend claims she’s a sell out.

She shocked everyone this week when she bared it all in sexy lingerie for New Idea, and now James Packer’s ex, Tziporah Malkah, previously known as model Kate Fischer, has defended the racy shoot after being accused of “selling out”.

Taking to social media, Tziporah, 42, said she’d received “criticism” after the publication used her old name of Kate Fischer on the cover, instead of her new name Tziporah, which she changed to reflect her Jewish heritage.

“Sorry to wank on too much about myself but I’ve received criticism that my old name was used on the cover of New Idea magazine instead of my new legal name Tziporah. Apparently I’d have had “more credibility” if my new name was on the cover,” the former 90s model wrote on Facebook.

Tziporah has hit back after recent critisim.

Tziporah went on to ask followers to “allow space for transition”.

“For years I was Kate. Suddenly a decade later there’s a name change. And not a minor one, it’s not like I’m Tziporah Fischer or Kate Malkah. I’m Tziporah Malkah. It’s very different and not everybody follows the media 24/7/52, so let’s all have some patience while people get used to the idea of having to remember my new name.”

Tziporah now lives a simple life.

After disappearing from the lime light Tziporah was thrust back into the spotlight earlier this month when rival mag Woman’s Day published unflattering pictures of her, wrapped in a bedsheet and collecting her mail, apparently unaware she was being photographed.

Since then people have been intrigued by the former red carpet queen’s transition — from her previous glamorous life of private jets and fabulous clothes to her much quieter lifestyle now working with elderly patients in a rest home.

Tziporah opened up about her relationship with James to New Idea.

In yesterday’s edition of New Idea, Tziporah stripped down to nothing but her lingerie and opened up about her relationship with billionaire James Packer saying he “cast a long shadow”.

“I had to put up with false rumours that I got multi-millions out of splitting from him. Once, I was at the supermarket when someone yelled out: ‘Nice job, getting 10 million bucks for lying on your back, Kate!’ I’d hear those types of awful remarks for years.”

While the brunette beauty was happy to set the record straight, she wasn’t going to take shade from haters about her old name being on yesterday’s magazine cover.

“Again, sorry if I offended anyone- however for those of you who feel that passionate about it please feel free to contact New Idea magazine and express your concerns directly to them, before accusing me of ‘selling out’ Shalom!”

The former model told people to take their concerns to New Idea.
