Karl Stefanovic jokes that Mick Molloy will organise buck’s night

JASMINE Yarbrough has been flashing her $120,000 ring around town for days, but now Karl Stefanovic has confirmed the news: There’s a wedding on the horizon.

KARL Stefanovic has all-but-confirmed his engagement to Jasmine Yarbrough after joking in a radio interview about making plans for his buck’s night.

Triple M’s Mick Molloy managed to sneak in a sly reference to the reports midway through their chat, telling the Today co-host, “I can’t wait for the wedding.”

Rather than deny the claims or change the subject, Stefanovic jumped right in.

“Let me tell you something,” he told Molloy and co-host Jane Kennedy. “What comes before a wedding is a buck’s ... and Mick Molloy has put his hand up [to organise it].”

Stefanovic’s fiancee has been showing off her massive $120,000 engagement ring in recent days, after rumours first started circulating about the wedding plans.

The couple met on a lavish boat cruise in December 2016, following Stefanovic’s high-profile split with his wife of 21 years, Cassandra Thorburn. The TV presenter and his ex-wife share three children, Jackson, River and Ava.

Earlier this week, Thorburn spoke publicly for the first time about her ex-husband’s engagement to the Brisbane-born shoe designer.

“I am just focused on helping those affected by the ever-changing landscape of my ex-husband’s life, to navigate it,” Thorburn told Fairfax Media.

“His engagement doesn’t register with me on any other level.”
