BIG Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco has revealed that her addiction to nasal spray was so bad it completely ‘ruined’ her sinuses, forcing her to undergo surgery.

KALEY Cuoco has revealed that her addiction to nasal spray was so bad that her sinuses were completely ruined.

The Big Bang Theory star told talk show host Ellen DeGeneres that she was forced to undergo painful sinus surgery in December to try and fix the damage caused by the spray.

“I was actually really addicted to nose spray like Afrin,” said Cuoco.

“Like for years ... At award shows I would have to pick out the right clutch to be able to fit my Afrin in it. And I’d be under the table like ... Snorting it.

“I couldn’t get enough and it was such a problem. And I ruined my sinus. So I had to get it fixed.”

29-year-old Cuoco had surgery on Christmas Eve and shared a few photos from before and after the procedure on her Instagram page.

But rather than elicit sympathy, the photos instead sparked rumours that the actress had gone under the knife for a nose job.

“Which is so funny, because if you know me, I would have told you I got a nose job,” said Cuoco to Ellen.

“I’m not gonna keep it a secret.”
