Jimmy Kimmel has slammed rumours that he will be named on the forthcoming list of Jeffrey Epstein’s associates.

The US chat show host took to Twitter on Tuesday to furiously deny the claim made by “wacko” NFL star Aaron Rodgers.

The names of over 150 associates of the late sex offender Epstein are set to be revealed in the coming weeks following a court order from a federal judge in December.

Rodgers had recently claimed that Kimmel could be among the names on the list, and now Kimmel has set the record straight.

The star slammed Rodgers’ remarks in a furious tweet, labelling the NFL player an “a**hole” that “can’t distinguish from reality”.

“Dear A**hole: for the record, I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality,” tweeted Kimmel.

He continued by threatening to take legal action against the player, adding: “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court. @AaronRodgers12”.

Rodgers had previously remarked during an appearance on The Pat McAfee Show that Kimmel’s name might turn up when the Epstein list of associates was revealed.

“There’s a lot of people, including Jimmy Kimmel, that are hoping it doesn’t come out,” he said. “If that list comes out, I’ll definitely be popping some sort of bottle.”

Back in March, Kimmel sparked a feud with the star after he publicly mocked Rodgers for discussing the Epstein list and UFOs during a previous appearance on the The Pat McAfee Show.

“Did you hear about the Epstein client list about to be released?” Rodgers, who also suggested the US government was attempting to “distract” the public with UFOs, said at the time. “There’s some files that have some names on it that might be getting released pretty soon.”

Kimmel played the clip of Rodgers on his late-night show before telling the star: “It might be time to revisit the concussion protocol, Aaron”, before referring to the quarterback as a “tinfoil hatter.”

The Epstein case has spawned countless conspiracy theories across social media about the alleged involvement of rich and powerful celebrities in global sex trafficking.

According to reports, over 150 people will be identified across hundreds of files which will shed new light on Epstein’s operation. The people whose names are to be disclosed include sex abuse victims, witnesses, Epstein’s employees, as well as others with only a passing connection.

Old flight logs revealing that former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump took trips on Epstein’s famed “Lolita Express” jet resurfaced Monday.

Clinton is also expected to be identified as “John Doe 36”, who is mentioned more than 50 times in documents related to a 2015 lawsuit from Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre set to be released as early as this week.
