Disturbing details in new Jeffrey Epstein document dump
Disturbing new claims about sex offender Jeffrey Epstein have been unearthed in the latest court documents to be publicly released.
A new tranche of court documents relating to financier and paedophile Jeffrey Epstein has been released.
The documents were unsealed following a 2015 civil defamation case by Virginia Roberts Giuffre, an American-born Australian woman, who launched the action against Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.
Epstein died in a New York prison by suicide in August 2019. Maxwell was convicted on five sex-trafficking charges and sentenced to 20 years in prison in 2022.
The extent of Epstein’s crimes on the island have been the subject of much speculation and the media pushed for years to have the documents related to Giuffre’s case made public.
The first documents were released on Thursday and more have been periodically unveiled since then.
Among the disturbing details in the newly-released documents are those related to the questioning of former model-turned-pilot Nadia Marcinkova.
“Were you with Jeffrey Epstein on his birthday when one of his friends sent to him 12 – sorry, three 12-year-olds for the purposes of Jeffrey Epstein sexually abusing them?” she was asked by lawyer David Yarema.
“These three 12-year-olds were from France. Were they sent to him on his birthday by Jean Luc Brunel or by somebody else?” he questioned.
Marcinkova repeatedly invoked her Fifth Amendment right to protect herself from self-incrimination.
Brunel was a French model scout linked to Epstein who died by suicide in a French prison in 2022 after he was accused of numerous crimes including rape.
Celebrities named in documents
The names of celebrities and politicians have been unearthed in the documents, however they carry no allegations of complicity in Epstein or Maxwell’s crimes.
A-listers named include Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Donald Trump and Alan Dershowitz. Celebrities name-dropped include Hollywood stars Cate Blanchett, Cameron Diaz and Leonardo DiCaprio, among others — but there is no evidence they even knew him.
One of the high-profile names mentioned in the lawsuit is renowned British theoretical physicist Professor Stephen Hawking.
Epstein’s offending was linked to a private island in the US Virgin Islands called ‘Little Saint James’ and later dubbed ‘Little St Jeff’ and also ‘Paedophile Island’.
In the newly-released documents it has emerged that Epstein offered a substantial reward to disprove claims that Professor Hawking took part in an “underage orgy” on the island.
Professor Hawking visited the region in 2006 during a conference involving some of the world’s leading physicists, Fox News reports.
The conference took place on St. Thomas, a larger land mass in the US Virgin Islands to the northwest of Little St. James.
During the conference, Epstein hosted Professor Hawking and other researchers for a barbecue on Little St. James.
Photos also show Professor Hawking taken for a boat tour and even a submarine dive.
Epstein was apparently eager to prove any allegations made about Professor Hawking would be proven untrue.
He sent an email to Maxwell which read: “[Y]ou can issue a reward to any of [Virginia’s] friends, [acquaintances], [family] that come forward and help prove her allegations are false,” Epstein wrote in a typo-filled missive Jan. 12, 2015. “[T]he strongest is the [C]linton dinner, and the new version in the [V]irgin [I]slands that [Stephen] [H]awking [participated] in an underage orgy.”
Professor Hawking died in 2018 aged 76.
Meanwhile, Prince Andrew is under renewed fire after he was named in the documents.
The Duke of York, as he is formally known, withdrew from frontline royal duties in late 2019 after public outrage at a BBC television interview in which he defended his friendship with Epstein.
The former Royal Navy helicopter pilot, 63, in February 2022 settled a US civil case brought by Virginia Giuffre, who claimed he sexually assaulted her when she was 17.
Andrew’s mother, the late Queen Elizabeth II, stripped him of his honorary military titles and patronages soon afterwards, effectively shutting him out of royal life.
He has consistently denied sexual assault and even meeting Giuffre.
The Metropolitan Police announced in October 2021 that it had closed its review into Giuffre’s claims in the US civil action, stating that it would take “no further action”.
King Charles is not planning to allow Prince Andrew to return to royal duties and the King remains “resolute” that there is no way back for his brother according to palace insiders, The Sun reports.
Prince Andrew is still clinging on to his 75-year lease at the 31-room Windsor’s Royal Lodge, despite plans for him to be evicted. His armed security detail has been axed.
