At the height of her drug addiction, Jamie Lee Curtis crossed a line with her Hollywood actor father Tony Curtis, she now reveals.

Jamie Lee Curtis has admitted in a new interview to once doing heavy drugs with her father, Hollywood star Tony Curtis.

“I knew my dad had an issue because I had an issue and he and I shared drugs,” the 60-year-old Freaky Friday actress said in Variety’s new “Recovery” issue.

“I did cocaine and freebased once with my dad. But that was the only time I did that, and I did that with him.”

Drugs were very much a family problem, said Jamie Lee Curtis, who didn’t give details about her cocaine use episode with her dad.

“I had six siblings. I have five. My brother, Nicholas, died of a heroin overdose when he was 21 years old,” she said.

There was a point in her father’s life when she was the only one of his children on speaking terms with him, she said.

“He did end up getting sober for a short period of time and was very active in recovery for about three years. It didn’t last that long. But he found recovery for a minute,” the star told the magazine.

The elder Curtis died at 85 of a cardiac arrest in 2010. He cut all five of his surviving children out of his will, according to reports.

Curtis came clean about her own drug addiction last year to People. “I had a 10-year run, stealing, conniving,” she told the magazine. “I was ahead of the curve of the opiate epidemic.”

Curtis says she developed an addiction to opioids in 1989, a year after her starring role in A Fish Called Wanda, after being prescribed them following minor cosmetic surgery. She hid her habit from friends and family for a long time; her older sister Kelly was the first to learn of it in 1998.

The True Lies star notched two important milestones in her rehabilitation journey on the same day in February 1999: She attended her first recovery meeting and confessed her habit to her husband, actor-director Christopher Guest. The pair have been married for 33 years and have two children: daughter Annie, 31, and son Tom, 22.

Curtis, fresh off her iconic role as Laurie Strode in the rebooted Halloween franchise, is coming up on 20 years of sobriety and continues to go to meetings.

“I’m breaking the cycle that has basically destroyed the lives of generations in my family,” she told People. “Getting sober remains my single greatest accomplishment … bigger than my husband, bigger than both of my children and bigger than any work, success, failure. Anything.”
