Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal Harris set for $12m payday after Playboy founder’s death
SHE was reportedly left out of his will but Hugh Hefner’s wife Crystal Harris will be taken care of in the Playboy founder’s estate.
PLAYBOY founder Hugh Hefner has left his wife Crystal a $12 million fortune, including a Hollywood hills property and $5 million, it has been revealed.
It comes after reports suggested Hef had excluded his third wife from his will, after the pair signed a prenup when they tied the knot in 2012.
The legendary media mogul died on Friday, aged 91.
Now, it’s emerged Hef did leave Crystal, 31, $5 million in cash and a four-bedroom modern-style home in Los Angeles, worth $7 million, according to the Daily Mail.
TMZ reports Hefner purchased the property — overlooking the famous Sunset Strip — and placed it in a trust for his bride in 2013.
The rest of his $43 million fortune is being split between his four children, along with the University of Southern California and charities.
Hef is expected to be laid to rest in a Hollywood crypt, next to Marilyn Monroe.
His son Cooper remembered the pioneer as a “leading voice behind some of the most significant social and cultural movements of our time”.
“My father lived an exceptional and impactful life as a media and cultural pioneer,” he said.
“He defined a lifestyle and ethos that lie at the heart of the Playboy brand.”
