Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez confirm their romance as they are spotted kissing aboard boat

HANG on, wasn’t Michelle Rodriguez dating Cara Delevigne? Well apparently not any more after she was snapped in a warm embrace with superhunk Zac Efron.

THEY’VE been called “the unexpected couple” but it looks like Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez are officially dating.

The pair seemed to confirm their romance when they were pictured cuddling and kissing multiple times on a boat while on holiday in Sardinia, Italy over the weekend.

Efron, 26, and Rodriguez - who is nine years his senior - were enjoying each other’s company as they held hands, sunbaked, swam and backflipped off the boat.

The display of affection looks to confirm the actress is no longer dating Cara Delevigne who she was first spotted kissing in February and was last seen with a little over a month ago. But there had been no indication the pair had split - until now.

Zac Efron and Michelle Rodriguez spotted on their last day in Sardinia.

The openly-bisexual actress spoke about her sexuality in October last year, telling Entertainment Weekly: “I’ve gone both ways.

“I do as I please. I am too f---ing curious to sit here and not try when I can. Men are intriguing. So are chicks.”

The pair were aboard a boat owned by their wealthy Italian friend and businessman pal Gianluca Vacchi, who they have both been spending time with for the past two weeks.

Vacchi posted several pictures and videos of the pair, including an Instagram video of a coordinated dance they did together.

So we know that Rodriguez isn’t exactly fussy, but what’s Efron looking for in a woman?

“A sense of ambition and a sense of freedom, which is a careful mix. You have to balance those two,” Efron told Women’s Health in 2012 of his ideal woman. “I haven’t exactly found it yet.”

Maybe Rodriguez is exactly that?
