Tom Cruise, 61, in shock split with Russian beauty Elsina Khayrova, 36, days after meeting her kids
Tom Cruise has reportedly ended his relationship with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova just days after meeting her children.
Tom Cruise has reportedly ended his relationship with Russian socialite Elsina Khayrova, pals have said.
The Mission: Impossible actor started dating Khayrova, 25 years his junior, at the end of last year, but according to The Sun their romance fizzled just days after he met her children.
Friends revealed to the outlet that Cruise, 61, had cooled off his romance with Elsina, 36, but wanted to remain friends — because they live in the same apartment block in London.
A source said: “To end things on a bad note would have been awkward if they’d bumped into each other in the lift.
“There are no hard feelings between them and for Tom, their relationship simply ran its course.”
The Sun revealed Cruise and Khayrov, the daughter of Russian politician Rinat Khayrov, went on dates in December.
They were first romantically linked after reportedly canoodling at a party in London’s ritzy Mayfair neighbourhood that month.
“They were inseparable, clearly a couple. He seemed to be besotted with her,” an eyewitness told the Daily Mail at the time.
Cruise later hired out the posh Novikov restaurant in London for them.
The Jack Reacher actor has been previously married three times.
He was married to Mimi Rogers from 1987 to 1990, Aussie actress Nicole Kidman from 1990 to 2001 and Katie Holmes from 2006 to 2012.
Meanwhile, Khayrova split from her ex-husband Dmitry Tsetkov in 2022.
The Russian oligarch, 43, spoke to the Daily Mail in December about their three-year divorce battle, which he claims cost him more than $150 million.
“Irrespective of whoever she’s with, Tom Cruise or anybody else, they should be aware that she likes the finer things in life and has expensive and luxurious taste. Tom should keep his eyes and wallet wide open,” Tsetkov said.
He added, “I’m happy for her, I wish her all the best.”
Cruise starred in Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part One last year, which is up for two Oscars, and he is now working on the sequel to that, which is due out in 2025.
