Tom Cruise, 61, ‘finds love’ with 36-year-old Russian socialite, Elsina Khayrova: report

The Hollywood megastar has been quietly dating his new London-based girlfriend and appears to be “besotted”, according to a new report.

Tom Cruise is reportedly “besotted” with a wealthy Russian socialite, 11 years on from his divorce from Katie Holmes.

The Mission Impossible star, 61, made a very unexpected entrance at a party in London’s Mayfair on Saturday alongside Elsina Khayrova, 36, according to the Daily Mail.

The former model, who is a British citizen, is the daughter of a high-profile Russian politician, and the ex-wife of a diamond-trading oligarch.

A source from the party told the publication they arrived around 9pm and were “inseparable, clearly a couple” and that Cruise seemed “besotted with her”.

“Cruise was very friendly – he kept being asked for pictures and politely declining,” the insider explained.

“Eventually, the DJ had to make an announcement in Russian that Mr Cruise didn’t want any photos. He spent most the night dancing with Ms Khayrova, but at one point he was just throwing himself around in the middle of a group of women.”

Khayrova was previously married to Dmitry Tsetkov, with whom she shared a property portfolio worth tens of millions of dollars.

Meanwhile, Cruise has remained notoriously tight-lipped about his love life since his high-profile split from Holmes in 2012, although he has recently been linked to singer Shakira and Mission: Impossible co-star, Hayley Atwell.

Earlier this year, reports emerged about the sad state of his relationship with 17-year-old daughter Suri, whom he shares with Holmes.

The pair reportedly have no contact whatsoever and Cruise has had “no part” in her life since 2013.

The Top Gun star and Holmes were one of the most high-profile couples of the early 2000s, with their romance generating endless headlines.

During a now infamous appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 2005, Cruise jumped on the talk show host’s sofa to declare his feelings for the Dawson’s Creek star.

“I’m in love! I’m in love,” he yelled while fist pumping the air. “I can’t be cool. I can’t be laid-back. It’s something that has happened, and I feel I want to celebrate it. I want to celebrate her. She’s a very special woman.”
