IT’S official: Ruby Rose and The Veronicas’ Jess Origliasso are in a relationship.

Jess confirmed she is in love with the Orange Is The New Black star, after reconnecting on the set of her latest video clip.

The pair was rumoured to have been dating in 2008, in what was believed to be an on-again, off-again relationship.

Jess, Lisa and Ruby have been friends for years.

After The Daily Telegraph broke the story, the 31-year-old singer told NovaFM’s Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small they’d fallen back in love during production on the On Your Side video, which Rose directed, co-wrote and starred in.

“It’s me. Me and Ruby Rose. And it is our love story in this video,” Jess said.

“We’ve been friends for eight years. We just reconnected over doing this video. We sort of just fell in love. It’s pretty cute, honestly.

“We support each other in our careers and we support one another and be there. It made sense to be able to come out on that level because we want to be there in each other’s lives on a public level.”

Jess also explained it was all about timing.

“It’s just this crazy thing when you care about someone for so long and then you have the chance to reconnect,” she said.

“We’ve grown up a lot, we met very early on. We were very different people — we were babies!”
