Snapchat billionaire Evan Spiegel wants Miranda Kerr as his wife and is reportedly ring shopping

SNAPCHAT founder Evan Spiegel is reportedly shopping for engagement rings amid rumours that he is set to propose to supermodel Miranda Kerr.

IS Miranda Kerr set to tie the knot with social media billionaire Evan Spiegel?

The Sun reports that the Snapchat founder and CEO is completely smitten with the former Victoria’s Secret model after a year of dating, and wants to put a ring on it.

US Weekly reported the social media mogul is “ready to take the next step” with his girlfriend: “They are both completely smitten and Evan’s starting to look at rings.”

Miranda and Evan met in 2014, and have been an item ever since.

The source added the pair will have an “extravagant wedding, in true Evan style. Miranda certainly won’t mind!”

The model, 33 and Spiegel, 26, who is worth $US2.1 billion ($2.75 billion) recently moved in together — they purchased a $US12 million mansion, which used to be owned by Harrison Ford, in May.

In the upscale LA neighbourhood of Brentwood, the 7164-square-foot home (665-square-metres) has a pool and guesthouse, as well as a gym.

rr certainly seems to be happy with her man — in January she told The Edit she loves Spiegel’s maturity and the age gap is not a problem: “He’s 25, but acts like he’s 50.

“He’s not out partying. He goes to work in (LA’s) Venice (Beach). He comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early.”

It will be the Australian beauty’s second marriage — she tied the knot with Orlando Bloom, 39, back in 2010 — the couple have a five-year-old son — Flynn.

They split in October 2013.

Bloom is now dating Katy Perry — the pair met at this years Golden Globes.

Both Kerr and Bloom have strict rules when it comes to introducing significant others to their son.

“We had to know the person for six months and feel good about

them,” she said. “Evan met Flynn, so, yeah, things are going well. Orlando thinks he’s great. We’re just a modern family now!”
