Singer Jewel has opened up about her “intense” relationship with Kevin Costner, gushing about the actor in a new interview.

Musician Jewel isn’t putting an end to the rumours about her relationship with Kevin Costner as she gushed over the actor in a new interview.

“He’s a great person,” she told Ellefor a story published Wednesday.

The outlet noted that the Foolish Games songstress was noticeably blushing while addressing the frenzy surrounding their alleged romance.

“The public fascination is intense for sure,” she added.

Rumours of Jewel, 49, and Costner’s new-found romance sparked in December when snaps of the duo cosied up in the British Virgin Islands surfaced.

The pictures obtained by TMZ showed the Yellowstone star, 69, unable to keep his hands off the singer as he wrapped his arms around her waist while she talked to an audience through the microphone.

At the time, Jewel was hosting the Inspiring Children Foundation tennis fundraiser on Richard Branson’s Necker Island while Costner attended as a guest.

Their chemistry was undeniable to other attendees as they were also spotted hanging out throughout their trip.

Jewel and Costner enjoyed a trip to Richard Branson’s Necker Island back in December.

“There was definitely something going on,” a source told the outlet.

“They were flirty. And when they were together, it was like they both just lit up.”

“You could tell they were trying to be discreet, but anybody who saw them could tell something was going on,” another insider added.

Costner and Jewel reportedly flew in and out of the island together.

The actor and the Standing Still hitmaker were intentionally set up by Branson, who offered Jewel his private island to host the fundraiser.

“Richard is 100 per cent responsible for Kevin and Jewel hooking up,” an insider told the Daily Mail in December.

“She has been a friend of Branson’s for years and he has been a close friend of Kevin’s since the 1990s.”

The source furthered their “hook-up happened organically,” adding, “They hit it off well and Jewel seems to be happy about it.” However, they are reportedly “not serious.”

Costner is fresh out of a divorce from Christine Baumgartner.

The former couple — who share kids share Cayden, 16, Hayes, 15, and Grace, 13 — called it quits in May 2023 after 18 years of marriage.

Meanwhile, Jewel was previously married to pro cowboy Ty Murray from 2008 to 2014. They share son, Kase, 12.
