Shia LaBeouf’s turbulent dating history with celeb girlfriends

A TMZ-streamed wedding, adultery allegations, and now a lawsuit from an ex-girlfriend - the actor has had a tumultuous dating history.

Once deemed “Hollywood’s Last Bad Boy,” Shia LaBeouf has never had a problem locking down the ladies. In fact, the actor has previously called himself a “serial monogamist.”

Still, trouble seems to follow the 34-year-old when in comes to both love and the law, as he’s currently being sued by an ex-girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs, for sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress.

In the wake of these allegations, Australian singer Sia has also come forward, claiming LaBeouf had “conned” her “into an adulterous relationship”.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time the actor has been accused of abuse, as previous exes have also alleged that the star can become unhinged, including ex-wife and possible current partner Mia Goth.

MEGAN FOX

These co-stars entered into an on-set romance while filming Transformers in 2007, with Fox confirming the affair during a 2018 appearance on Watch What Happens Live.

“I mean I would confirm that it was romantic,” said Fox, 34. “I love him. I have never been really quiet about that, I love him.”

LaBeouf admitted to “philandering around” with Aussie co-star Isabel Lucas, 35, while working on the sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Lucas was in a relationship with actor Adrian Grenier at the time. The couple’s affair was discovered when they were involved in a 2009 late-night car accident, in which Lucas received minor head injuries, and LaBeouf had surgery on his hand and was charged with drink-driving.

“It was sort of disastrous,” LaBeouf said. “Neither one of us, I think, were in love. Just sort of experimenting or whatever.”

Fashion stylist Karolyn Pho has offered FKA Twigs her support.

The stylist-turned-designer, 31, dated the actor from 2010 to 2012.

She has also accused the troubled star of abuse, claiming he drunkenly pinned her to a bed and headbutted her, causing her to bleed. She’s offered testimony on Twigs’ behalf in the singer’s lawsuit against their shared ex.

While The Peanut Butter Falcon stars Johnson, 31, and LaBeouf (seen above with co-star Zack Gottsagen) never confirmed a relationship between them, rumours began circulating during the film’s press junket, when the pair couldn’t help but constantly gush about one another.

LaBeouf stated that he was “honoured to be in scenes” with Johnson during their time filming the 2019 flick. He also named her as his best on-screen kiss.

During filming, he was arrested for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and obstruction of justice, leaning on both Johnson and Gottsagen for support. Johnson later revealed that she was “very protective” of the actor at the time. She also stated that he “might be the greatest actor of [her] generation.”

The pair met in 2012 while on the set of Nymphomaniac: Vol. II. LaBeouf and Goth, 27, married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2016, streaming their nuptials on TMZ.

They were filmed having an argument in Germany in 2015, when he said on-camera, “I don’t want to touch a woman. I don’t want to hit a woman, but I’m being pushed,” and, “If I’d have stayed there, I would have killed her.”

The couple split in 2018, with a rep telling Page Six at the time, “Shia and Mia have filed for divorce. The separation is amicable, and all details pertaining to the divorce proceedings will remain private.”

However, the pair were spotted wearing wedding rings in March 2020 while riding bikes together in Los Angeles. Neither has confirmed a reconciliation.

LaBeouf began dating the singer, 32, shortly after his 2018 separation from Goth. The pair met on the set of his film Honey Boy, but didn’t make things official until after filming wrapped.

They dated for a little less than a year and Twigs now claims the actor was sexually, mentally and physically abusive during their time together. Accusations include knowingly giving her a sexually transmitted disease and grabbing her so hard, she would bruise.

LaBeouf responded to the accusations in an email to the New York Times, “I’m not in any position to tell anyone how my behaviour made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, only rationalisations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of that history and am sorry to those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say.”

Sia yesterday shocked fans with the revelation she was unknowingly in an “adulterous relationship” with LaBeouf, as she offered her support for FKA Twigs.

The Australian songstress, 44, took to Twitter today and said she was also “hurt emotionally” by the Transformers actor, who starred in the music video for her 2015 song Elastic Heart.

“I too have been hurt emotionally by Shia, a pathological liar, who conned me into an adulterous relationship claiming to be single. I believe he’s very sick and have compassion for him AND his victims. Just know, if you love yourself - stay safe, stay away,” she tweeted.
