The Aussie actress tweeted directly at the account for Dahl’s clothing line, saying she will “forever treasure” her relationship with the British fashion designer.
@FAIRCLOTHSUPPLY remains very dear to my heart. I will forever treasure our time together. Iâm a better person because of all we shared.

Dahl responded, “You have brought me to my best and I will always love you. I can’t wait to see what the future brings for us.”

In what came as a huge shock to fans, Rose, 29, and Dahl, 27, announced they had called off their engagement on Monday.
Dahl’s representative confirmed the split in a statement to Us Weekly. “After two wonderful years together, Ruby and I have decided to part ways,” Dahl said.
“While we still love each other and support each other in every way, it is our mutual decision to part ways. Our break is not the result of any media speculation, and we want nothing but the best for each other. Thank you for respecting our privacy in this very difficult time.”
Dahl has already moved out of the Orange Is the New Black star’s Los Angeles, California home, her rep confirmed.
News.com.au spoke to the now-exes just last month when they attended the GQ Awards together in Sydney. Rose was awarded GQ Woman Of The Year and brought Dahl home to Australia to visit family and friends.
Dahl said she was using the trip to find out more about her fiancee. “I love it, I love it, I really love it,” she told news.com.au of spending time in Sydney. “I love being able to come back and see where Ruby is from and see her heritage.”
Since visiting Australia in November, the pair haven’t shared any images of each other on their social media accounts. The last photograph of the former couple was uploaded by Dahl three weeks ago, reminiscing about her time in Sydney.
“TBT to Bondi. Love this snap of Ruby snapping me in my favorite @goldengoosedeluxebrand sneaks,” Dahl captioned the pic.
The pair announced their engagement in March 2014 after just three months of dating.
During an interview with Out magazine, Dahl gushed over Rose, admitting she fell for her while she was still in a previous relationship. “It sounds corny, but it was love at first sight,” the granddaughter of famed author Roald Dahl said at the time.
“Apparently, she felt the same thing.”
Rose added: “I thought, ‘Oh my God, I need to marry her. Who is she?’”
