Reese Witherspoon has officially filed for divorce from husband Jim Toth after 12 years of marriage.

The Legally Blonde star, 47, cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, according to Davidson County court records obtained by TMZ Saturday.

Witherspoon and Toth signed a prenuptial agreement in March 2011 that is valid and will provide “adequate and sufficient provisions” for their assets and debts, per the documents filed in Nashville, Tennessee.

The former couple — who share 10-year-old son Tennessee — will have to register for a parenting class, which is mandated in Davidson County.

They will then have 60 days to submit a certificate of completion to the court.

Witherspoon will reportedly submit their prenup to a judge for approval, as well as a permanent parenting plan.

On March 24, Witherspoon took to Instagram to announce in a joint statement that she and Toth, 52, were calling it quits — days before they were set to celebrate their 12th wedding anniversary.

While the Cruel Intentions star said she and the former Creative Artist Agency executive “have enjoyed so many wonderful years together,” they “are moving forward with deep love, kindness, and mutual respect for everything we have created together.”

Witherspoon — who is also mum to daughter Ava, 23, and son Deacon, 19, with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe — added that their “biggest priority” is their son, as well as their “entire family as we navigate this next chapter.”

Page Six exclusively reported last week that the couple’s marriage ended because it had become platonic and there was “zero romance” left.

“There’s no big scandal or drama, just two people who essentially became co-parents and don’t really have any romantic feelings for each other anymore,” an insider previously told us.

Nearly a week after announcing the split, the mum of three was spotted on Thursday making a stern phone call while out in Nashville — without her wedding ring on.

Toth and Witherspoon tied the knot in her California home in March 2011 after nearly a year of dating.

In March 2021, the Big Little Lies alum took to Instagram to commemorate 10 years of marriage to her “sweet hubby.”

“What a special day with all of our dear friends. Looking back, I can’t believe it has gone so quickly!” she captioned an image from their nuptials. “I guess that’s how it goes with 3 kids, Big LOVE, lots of laughing, non- stop travel, so many dogs, and fun adventures … figuring out this crazy world together. Here’s to many more days in the sun! I [love] you, JT.”
