Perrie Edwards breaks down on stage after Zayn Malik split

LITTLE Mix singer Perrie Edwards, who split from fiance Zayn Malik just weeks ago, started sobbing during a live performance on Wednesday.

PERRIE Edwards started sobbing in the middle of a song during a live performance on Wednesday.

The Little Mix singer — who recently split from former One Direction member Zayn Malik — had just hit a note in the song The End when she broke down. The other group members quickly rushed to her side to hug her and make sure she was okay.

Band member Jesy Nelson told the concerned crowd: “It’s been a long day and we’ve had no sleep, so I think this is why this has happened. We’re just very emotional.”

Fans in the audience also offered words of support to the distraught singer, yelling out: “We love you Perrie.”

Earlier this month news broke that Malik, 22, had called off their two-year engagement and that Edwards, also 22, was reportedly taking the news hard.

“Perrie’s being supported by her band mates, but she’s really in pieces about this,” a source told People.
