Nick Jonas marries Quantico star Priyanka Chopra in India
Singer Nick Jonas has married Quantico actress Priyanka Chopra in a Western ceremony in India in front of celebrity guests but without her BFF Meghan, Duchess of Sussex.
Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra made their love official on Saturday, tying the knot in a lavish ceremony in front of family and friends.
The New York Post reports that the couple, who were first linked in May 2018 and engaged just two months later, wed on Saturday in Chopra’s native India.
They arrived in India last week for the multiple-day extravaganza for the over-the-top event.
Jonas, 26, and Chopra, 36, said “I do” in a Western ceremony at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in the city of Jodhpur, People reports. The venue served as the ceremony space as well as the hotel for the couple’s international guest list.
One of the most special things that our relationship has given us is a merging of families who love and respect each other’s faiths and cultures. And so planning our wedding with an amalgamation of both was so so amazing. pic.twitter.com/KcTD5D4MAw

The bride and groom both wore Ralph Lauren, as did the bridal party.
We’re told the bridal party was a family affair as Kevin Jonas’ and wife Danielle and Joe Jonas’ and his fiancee Sophie Turner were all in the wedding.
“People will need vacations after this wedding,” Chopra told Vogue in a profile published this week.
The newlyweds met through a friend and chatted via text messages for six months before meeting up in person.
“It was kind of immediate and we sort of jumped right in and we’re very happy,” Jonas told Jimmy Fallon on a Tonight Show appearance in September.
Jonas reportedly popped the question in July on Chopra’s 36th birthday while the couple was on a trip together in London, but they didn’t confirm the news until August when they celebrated their engagement with a traditional Roka ceremony in Mumbai.
“Future Mrs. Jonas. My heart. My love,” Jonas wrote alongside a photo of the pair. Chopra captioned the same photo, “Taken … with all my heart and soul.”
Chopra has been busy in the month leading up to the wedding. She recently celebrated her upcoming nuptials with a bridal shower at Tiffany and Co. and jetted off to Amsterdam for her bachelorette party with her soon-to-be sister-in-law Turner.
Chopra and Jonas were also spotted in Beverly Hills getting their marriage license ahead of the big day.
The Quantico actress’ mum approved of the couple, telling DNA India, “Nick is calm and mature. He’s a wonderful person and everyone in the family just loves him. He’s so polite and respectful towards elders. What more can a mother want!”
