The newspaper announced Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s Italian wedding with a very short piece that was big on sarcasm, headlined ‘ALERT (yawn): Kimye weds’.
“Two jackasses got married in Italy Saturday,” the Post’s story opens describing Kardashian as a “sex-tape star” and West as an “egotist.”
“They were betrothed at Florence’s 16th-century Fort di Belvedere castle. Olympic athlete Bruce Jenner walked Kim down the aisle.
The republic still stands.”
The short-but-sharp piece was credited to ‘Post Wire Services’. Hmm ... perhaps Kim’s former husband-of-72-days Kris Humphries got a job at the Post?
