WHEN Miranda Kerr announced her engagement to Evan Spiegel back in July with a photo that possessed its own personalised Snapchat filter made especially for their big announcement, it was clear this was a match made in heaven.

But what about the romantic moment before they made it #SnapchatOfficial? Well, Miranda has finally spilt on how Evan popped the question.

“[Was I expecting it?] Absolutely not,” she told Female First. “He said to me, ‘Miranda, I’m telling you now, this is the first and last time I’m going to kneel down in front of you.”

While it doesn’t sound like the most romantic thing to say, we’re sure he meant it in a sweet way.

“I was terribly nervous and emotional, trembling with happiness,” Kerr added of her reaction.

While the wedding is planned for “next year”, she remained tight-lipped on the specifics.

But we imagine there won’t be any disagreements on the finer details of the big day, with the model saying they share the same “conservative” attitude.

“Evan is a real homebody like me. We have little dinner parties for our friends — he loves my cooking,” she said.

“Both of us are quite conservative even though we come from different worlds. But we have common values, a sense of loyalty, family and honesty. I tend to trust other people more easily. Evan is more guarded and reserved. It’s a good balance.”
