Megan Fox has filed for divorce from her husband Brian Austin Green

After making her first red carpet debut with new boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly, the actress has filed for divorce from actor Brian Austin Green.

Megan Fox is taking a big step against her ex Brian Austin Green, filing for divorce to legally end their marriage.

Fox, 34, filed for divorce from Green, 47, on Wednesday according to court documents obtained by The Blast.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star filed his response on Wednesday, the outlet reports.

It comes three days after Fox made her red carpet debut with new boyfriend Machine Gun Kelly at the 2020 American Music Awards on Sunday.

Green officially confirmed the former couple had parted ways in May, after Fox was spent spending more and more time with the heavily tattooed 30-year-old rapper.

Fox and Green share three children together, sons Noah Shannon, 8, Bodhi Ransom, 6, and Journey River, 4.

After Fox made her debut with Machine Gun Kelly over the weekend, some eagle-eyed fans noticed that she was showing off new ink, which seemed to be a tribute to her new boyfriend.

One Twitter user pointed out that, “We finally have a close-up of Megan’s tattoo and it says ‘el pistolero’ which is Spanish for the shooter aka machine gun Kelly!”

Fox showed off a new tattoo at the AMAs.

Other fans were quick to point out that the tattoo was in Spanish because the pair met when they were both in Costa Rica.

Fox has not confirmed the new tattoo is for her boyfriend, but lyrics from her appearance on his latest album Tickets to My Downfall tease that it was a tribute.

“It was just four months ago that we were right here and I met you. That’s not possible,” Fox said on the track “Banyan Tree (Interlude)” in September. “You just got my initials tattooed on you. I just got your nickname tattooed on me.”

Kelly, real name Colson Baker, has yet to reveal if he has Fox’s initials anywhere on his body, which is virtually entirely covered by tattoos.

Interestingly, Fox also has a tattoo dedicated to her ex on her stomach, which she might look into removing after their many public spats during their separation.

Most recently, she blasted a photo of Green on Halloween, wearing a costume alongside the youngest of the former couple’s three sons, Journey.

Their separation has not been easy, with the pair publicly feuding for weeks.

“Hope you all had a good Halloween!” he captioned the photo, which was soon flooded with supportive comments from fans declaring him the “best dad ever”.

But then Fox left a comment of her own underneath the photo. Here’s what she wrote, in full – brace yourself:
