Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green move on with new celeb companions after divorce
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green both appear to have moved on swiftly from their split – but you won’t believe who he’s been spotted with.
Well, that didn’t take long. Less than a month after actor Brian Austin Green candidly announced his sudden split from wife of seven years Megan Fox, both stars have been spotted out and about with new people.
Fox was this week pictured kissing rapper Machine Gun Kelly – no real surprises there, as the pair had been photographed together before and Austin Green had previously given the new relationship his blessing: “I trust her judgment … I don’t want people to think that her (sic) or he are villains or I was a victim in any way with any of this because I wasn’t,” he said last month.
But 90210 star Austin Green’s choice of post-split companion is more unexpected: He’s been spotted having lunch with none other than former teen bride Courtney Stodden.

Stodden, 25, shot to infamy at the age of 16 when she married 51-year-old actor Doug Hutchison. The pair have since divorced, with Stodden saying she felt “manipulated” into the marriage.
If this is the start of a new romance, 46-year-old Austin Green and Stodden have a 21-year age gap between them – not as extreme as the 35 years separating Stodden and her ex.
Austin Green confirmed speculation about his split with Fox in a surprisingly candid episode of his podcast Context last month. He revealed that the couple had first drifted last year when Fox was out of the country to shoot a film. When she returned after five-and-a-half weeks – “the longest that she’s been gone” – there was a distance between them.
“I gave her a couple weeks, I figured she’s been out of the country, she’s jet-lagged, she’s been shooting nights, I have to give her some time to recoup a little bit and get back into life, and so I did,” he said.
But nothing changed, and Austin Green said Fox eventually told him she’d preferred her time alone and liked herself “better during that experience”.
Green said he was “shocked” and “upset about it,” but “wasn’t upset at her”.
“It wasn’t a choice she made,” he said. “That’s the way she honestly felt.”
“It sucks when life changes and something that you’re used to, that you’ve been doing for 15 years, you try and not get rid of but you change because there’s the unknown aspect … There’s that pit in my stomach,” Green said. “I really don’t want Megan and I to be at odds. … She’s been my best friend for 15 years and I don’t want to lose that.”
The pair began dating in 2004 and married in 2010. Fox filed for divorce in 2015, but they later reconciled before the birth of their third child in 2016.
