SHE’S really done. Mariah Carey has finally taken off the diamond engagement ring James Packer gave her despite wearing the bling long after their split.

The former couple are said to be negotiating a multi-milliondollar settlement to end their failed romance.

The Dreamlover singer, 46, had still been wearing the huge $10 million diamond bling despite her messy split from the billionaire casino mogul.

Their relationship turned sour over Carey’s reported “extravagant spending” and her reality series, Mariah’s World, The Sun reports.

Packer reportedly let Carey keep the ring after he ended their relationship.

“He’s not going to make her give the ring back because it’s against the law,” a source said, according to The Sun.

“The law in California is that she doesn’t have to give the ring back because she didn’t call off the engagement.

“She had every intention of marrying him — she had a dress, her daughter had a dress, they were excited, they were making wedding plans. Then, on the last day (of their Greek vacation), he said, ‘I can’t do this anymore, this is just too much.’”

Meantime, Carey reportedly branded ex-fiance Packer a “lying opportunist” who used her to secure business deals.

TMZ reports that Carey is continuing to demand $50 million from Packer, claiming her life was “uprooted” from New York and that the relationship caused her emotional distress that forced her to cancel the South American leg of her world tour.

However, Packer sources told the site that the cancellations were due to poor ticket sales and not emotional distress.

Carey reportedly believes that Packer used her to secure business and dragged her to meetings, including with foreign dignitaries, to help land deals.

She believes she should get a percentage of any of those deals.

However, Packer is reportedly holding the line and believes there is no legal basis to pay Carey a cent now that their year-long courtship is over.

The pair split in October with the singer reportedly “blindsided” when Packer dumped her.

Rumours had circulated that Carey may have been getting too close to her back-up dancer Brian Tanaka for Packer’s liking.

TMZ says that Carey is channelling her heartbreaking into her new album hoping to achieve a few Taylor Swift-style chartbusters about the split.
