Lisa Oldfield threatens divorce after blazing row: ‘I knocked him out in one punch’

THEIR relationship was revealed in brutal detail on The Real Housewives of Sydney — and life is rockier than ever Lisa and David Oldfield.

LISA Oldfield last night announced her split from husband David via the medium of — where else — her infamous Instagram account.

But this morning, on a phone interview with Kyle and Jackie O, she backtracked from the announcement, blaming her “second bottle of Bollinger” for the post and explaining it was the result of a blazing row between the pair.

TheReal Housewives of Sydney troublemaker and her ex-politician hubby have made for one of the most uncomfortable storylines on the reality show, dredging the depths of their marriage woes as entertainment for the masses.

And after one season of tense fights, televised breakdowns and even one bout of televised marriage counselling, Oldfield last night declared that it was finally over.

Last night Oldfield shared a divorce-themed meme with her Instagram followers, captioning the picture: “Kicking this #motherf***er to the #kerb #byedave #byefelicia.”

This morning, she was in a slightly sheepish mood, attempting to laugh off the split to Kyle and Jackie O.

“If you put s**t out there (on Instagram), you get free s**t. I thought if I put a divorce out there, I’d get a free divorce lawyer,” she joked.

She called her husband a “pain in the arse” and said he was “pretty angry” during the fight that led to the post.

“Last night he said ‘What do you want for Mother’s Day?’ I said, ‘How about a divorce,’ and he said ‘I wasn’t planning to spend that much.’”

As the argument escalated, “He said he’d fight for custody of the kids, but I knocked him out in one punch.”

The publicity-hungry star said she’d reconsidered her decision to divorce: “I’d hate to split up the appliances, so we’ll probably keep at it. I’m a masochist.”

The pair do put on a united front on this Sunday’s Real Housewives reunion special, in which David appears briefly and shares a kiss with his wife.

As recently as two days ago David Oldfield was replying to viewers of the show on Twitter to tell them he and Lisa were “still married and still working on it.”

But in a radio interview last week, Lisa admitted that “my kids are dickheads [and] I hate my husband.”

The couple’s appearances on the show ranged from tense to explosive.

Lisa’s biggest ally on the show, art-loving fashionista and reincarnated Geisha Athena X Levendi, chimed in under the original Instagram post. “Did you keep the number Victoria gave you?” she wrote, a reference to fellow Housewife Victoria Rees’ offer of a divorce lawyer’s details during this season.

While their marriage troubles are at this stage well-documented, so is Oldfield’s use of Instagram as an attention-seeking platform: The mother-of-two frequently posts — and then quickly deletes — offensive and incendiary material about her fellow Housewives, dead celebrities and her own family members, and has explained that it’s simply her “dark sense of humour.”

Guess we can chalk up divorce as part of the joke.
