A former pilot has revealed he caught Lily Allen joining the mile high club with Liam Gallagher in first class during their boozy flight to Tokyo.

A former pilot has spoken out about busting Lily Allen and Liam Gallagher having sex in the aircraft’s first class cabin.

The past Virgin Atlantic employee, speaking anonymously to MailOnline, divulged details about the A-list pair’s infamous mid-flight romp back in 2009, which Allen first revealed in her 2018 autobiography.

Now, the flight captain who was onboard has revealed how cabin crew attempted to intervene after noticing the duo under the covers at one point during the 11-hour flight from London to Tokyo. Gallagher, now 51, was married to All Saints singer Nicole Appleton at the time.

“Over an hour into the flight I was called out of the flight deck by a member of the cabin crew who said that Lily Allen was in bed with Liam Gallagher,” the flight captain revealed to the outlet.

“I came out and saw the two of them under a duvet. There was a lot of movement, and they weren’t reading bedtime stories to each other. It was clear what they were doing.

“A crew member initially tried to stop them, but they weren’t listening which is why they called me. Then a few moments later, Lily got up, went back to her seat and got out an e-cigarette.

“One of the cabin crew asked me: ‘Shall I stop her?’ but I told her, ‘She’s just f**ked Liam Gallagher. Let her have a couple of puffs and she will pass out.’”

Allen, now 39, who recently angered fans after giving up her her dog, previously wrote in her book My Thoughts Exactly that she and Gallagher found themselves alone in the plane toilet after they “got hammered”, claims which resurfaced again this week.

According to Allen, when she and the Oasis star landed in Tokyo, he allegedly asked her not to tell his then-wife, All Saints singer Nicole Appleton.

“We got hammered on the plane. At some point Liam and I found ourselves together in the toilet doing something that he shouldn’t have been doing, and it wasn’t drugs”, Allen said. “Then we were in a lie-down bed together.”

She added, “When we landed in Tokyo, Liam said, in his distinctive nasal twang, ‘What you doing now? Why don’t you come back to our hotel? ‘I was like, ‘Yeah, OK.’”

Allen also claimed that she hadn’t known at the time that the Oasis star was still married to Appleton.

“It wasn’t until the next day when he said something like, ‘No one can hear about this because of Nic,’ that I clocked he was married”, she wrote.

“I knew Noel was married and I knew Liam had been married to Patsy Kensit. That was partly why I fancied him. I’d grown up an Oasis fan. I was 12 when he and Patsy Kensit were on the cover of Vanity Fair as the coolest couple.”

Allen went on to claim that several months later she picked up the phone to Gallagher, who urged her to tell his then-wife that the ‘rumours’ weren’t true.

“Say one of your mates is, like, trying to do a wind-up or something and saying that you and me had it off or whatever, and I need you to speak to Nic and say that it’s all b*****ks’” Gallagher reportedly asked her.

Despite complying, Allen then expressed to Gallagher her anguish at having to lie.

“Oh, Liam, yes sure, it’s all b*****ks. Let’s say it’s all b*****ks – of course I’ll tell Nicole that it’s all b*****ks if that’s what you want – and not think about it too much or even at all, and then maybe it will go away and not disrupt what really matters: The people we love and rely on.”

In 2018, as reports emerged regarding Allen’s autobiography, Appleton took to Twitter to break her silence over the claims, saying, “One day our paths will cross @lilyallen!”.

Gallagher and Appleton, who share a 23-year-old son, married in 2008, before separating in 2013.
