Liam Hemsworth’s family beg him to cut off Miley Cyrus

The Hemsworths are reportedly rallying around Liam in the wake of his shock split from Miley Cyrus, urging him not to return to the “toxic” relationship.

Liam Hemsworth’s family have reportedly urged him not to get back with Miley Cyrus.

It follows reports that Cyrus is keen to date new fling Kaitlynn Carter after the women were caught kissing on their Italian getaway.

Speaking after Hemsworth publicly confirmed their split last week, a source told The Sun: “Miley and Liam both keep saying the word ‘separated’ not ‘divorcing’ which has his family really worried they’re leaving the door open to get back together in the future.

“They think Liam should cut Miley off and can’t stand the idea of them getting back together. Nobody wants that.

“They think it’s been on and off so many times that everyone worries about him getting sucked back into the relationship and getting his heart broken again.

“It’s been toxic for way too long. They’re not meant to be together.”

The Hollywood couple’s split has reportedly turned nasty after sources on both sides made shock allegations around drug use and infidelity.

TMZ reported that 26-year-old Cyrus battled “valiantly” to save her and Hemsworth’s seven-month marriage but struggled to accept his heavy drinking and “use of certain drugs”, which he has denied.

Meanwhile, Cyrus has been known to date women, and on a break from Hemsworth back in 2015 she hooked up with Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell.

After she was spotted kissing Maxwell, Cyrus insisted she didn’t like to label relationships.

Cyrus has been open about her sexuality.

Cyrus’ new love interest Carter recently split from husband Brody Jenner, who is the half-brother of Kylie Jenner, and she’d revealed they’d enjoyed threesomes during their marriage to keep it “fresh”.

Cyrus and Hemsworth met as young lovebirds on the set of The Last Song in 2009 and had an on-off relationship — even getting engaged in 2012 before breaking up two years later.

Then in 2016 they reunited with another engagement and secretly wed in December at Cyrus’ house in Franklin, Tennessee.

Page Six reported that Hemsworth wanted to settle down and live a “normal” life with Cyrus before it looked as though she was heading back to her wild ways.

Friends also denied that Cyrus had been unfaithful, adding: “She never hooked up with girls while she was married. It wasn’t a part of the relationship.

“There was no hooking up behind his back or with his knowledge.”
