Leonardo DiCaprio and his model girlfriend Camila Morrone have called it quits after five years together, a few weeks after her 25th birthday.

Leonardo DiCaprio is back on the market after quietly splitting from his girlfriend, model Camila Morrone.

Insiders close to the Hollywood A-lister have said the pair grew apart after five years, and called it a day recently, The Sun reports.

“Leo and Camila ended their relationship over the summer,” a source told the publication.

“There are no bad feelings between them. It just came to a natural conclusion.”

Of course relationships come and go, but a look back at Leo’s love life seems to hint that the “natural conclusion” could have correlated with the fact that the US-Argentine model and actress turned 25 in June.

And DiCaprio, 47, hasn’t previously publicly dated a woman over that age.

Of all the women the Wolf Of Wall Street actor has dated, including supermodels Gisele Bündchen and Bar Refaeli, and actress Blake Lively, none of them have been over the age of 25 when they were together.

Morrone previously hit back when quizzed about the 22-year age gap between DiCaprio and herself.

During their relationship she was regularly mocked by trolls, including one who told her the romance with DiCaprio would be “over when you’re 25”.

She told the Los Angeles Times in 2019: “There’s so many relationships in Hollywood – and in the history of the world – where people have large age gaps. I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.”

Bundchen famously dated DiCaprio for five years until 2005, when she was 25. Refaeli was with the actor for the same amount of time and they split in 2009, when she was 25.

Lively, who is now 33, came on the scene and the pair dated for five months when she was 23.

DiCaprio then briefly dated model Erin Heatherton, who was 22, and model and actress Toni Garrn for a year before it ended when she was 21.

Kelly Rohrbach dated the Titanic actor in 2016. It ended when she was 25.

He was also with Danish model Nina Agdal for a year, until she was 25.

Morrone and DiCaprio rarely made official public appearances together during their years-long romance.

They attended the Oscars together in 2020, where they there filmed sitting side-by-side inside the Dolby Theatre.

Morrone was seen sitting with DiCaprio at the 2020 Oscars, one of their rare public appearances together.

However, they walked the red carpet separately.

DiCaprio rarely opens up about his private life, and in a 2013 interview with Australian program 60 Minutes to promote The Great Gatsby, he declined to answer Allison Langdon’s question asking when he’d be “settling down” with marriage and children.

“I would never answer that question,” DiCaprio said. “Is it on the cards one day?” Langdon asked.

“I’m sure it will be,” he added.
