Kristin Cavallari, Jay Cutler split: Star couple stun with divorce announcement

Reality TV veteran Kristin Cavallari and her husband, former US football star Jay Cutler, have shocked fans with news they’ve split after a decade together.

Kristin Cavallari and husband Jay Cutler are divorcing after 10 years together.

The couple — who are the parents of three children — announced the news via both of their Instagram accounts on Sunday.

“With great sadness after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce,” their joint statement read. “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart.”

Cavallari, 33, and Cutler, 36, also requested privacy as they “navigate this difficult time within our family”.

The star of Very Cavallari, which is available to stream on Foxtel Now, (who’s also famous for her time on MTV’s The Hills and Laguna Beach), married the former NFL quarterback in 2013. They share three children: sons Camden, 7, and Jaxon, 5, and four-year-old daughter Saylor.

Fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment shortly after the news broke.

A rep for Cavallari did not immediately return a request for comment.

Cavallari and Cutler returned to the US earlier this month after a three-week quarantine together in the Bahamas.
