Kendall Jenner sports bizarre psychedelic outfit amid Ben Simmons breakup claims

Amid reports she has split from Australian NBA star Ben Simmons, Kendall Jenner has emerged in Cannes wearing an eyebrow-raising outfit.

This is definitely not the sort of breakup outfit you’d expect from Kendall Jenner.

The world’s top-paid supermodel, 23, jetted into France today amid reports she has split from Australian NBA star Ben Simmons, wearing a bizarre bright green outfit.

The Victoria’s Secret model’s rare fashion fail came on the same day as reports she and Melbourne-raised Simmons, 22, had split after dating for a year on and off.

The psychedelic-inspired denim jacket and matching pants by Paris-based designer Casablanca were dubbed the “Les Oranges” by the brand, with Jenner teaming the airport ensemble with a Hermes bag and sneakers.

The New York Post reported that Simmons has been seen partying in Atlantic City amid sources confirmed the romance was over.

It came after Jenner told Vogue Australia this month why she kept her “scared” personal relationship out of the public eye.

“I got a glimpse of how my sisters dealt with [the attention] and it’s cool to learn from that,” Kendall said.

“For me, a lot of things are very special and very sacred, like my friends and relationships, and I personally think that bringing things into the public makes everything so much messier.”

Over the past few days, Jenner has hinted at the split, posting cryptic quotes and song lyrics on Instagram — including Tyler, the Creator’s song I Don’t Love You Anymore.

While Jenner and Simmons have rarely spoken of their relationship, Jenner was often photographed courtside at his Philadelphia ’76ers games, including wearing a basketball singlet with his number on it.

“Kendall and Ben have gotten very serious and are very into each other,” a source told Us Weekly in March.

Despite previously refusing to comment on her private life, Jenner confirmed her relationship with Simmons in an interview on Ellen.

When asked about him, Jenner said they had been dating “for a bit now”. Simmons previously said he did not comment on his private life.

“It is one of those things that I don’t like to talk about too much, because it is personal,” Simmons told the Daily Telegraph last August.

Being linked to the world’s top-paid supermodel has catapulted Simmons, whose next NBA contract could be worth $US100 million, to celebrity status.
