Katie Holmes confirms new romance with chef Emilio Vitolo Jr

Actress Katie Holmes made no attempt to hide her feelings after her recent breakup during a PDA-filled dinner with new boyfriend, Emilio Vitolo Jr.

After recently ending her romance with Jamie Foxx, Katie Holmes has moved on with restaurateur Emilio Vitolo Jr.

The mother-of-one, 41, was photographed sitting on the 33-year-old chef’s lap while they had dinner at Peasant Restaurant in Manhattan on Sunday night.

During the night they often kissed passionately.

Wearing a plain white T-shirt with her hair in a messy bun above her head, the Dawson’s Creek actress was casual and comfortable with her new man.

Emilio was often caught gazing lovingly into her eyes, with his hands cupping her makeup-free face.

Aside from spending most of the night locking lips, the pair were caught laughing uncontrollably, showing no attempt to hide their PDA from any onlookers.

The pair first sparked romance rumours on September 4 when they went on a dinner date at SoHo eatery.

Their recent display comes as a surprise to fans, who are used to the actress keeping her love life extremely private, following her public divorce with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Following the divorce, Holmes briefly dated actor Jamie Foxx, 52 in 2013, however they never officially confirmed their relationship until 2019, when split rumours had already started to emerged.

At the time, insiders told People that the relationship had run its course, explaining that, “This industry is very tough on relationships.”

“Jamie thinks Katie is an incredible human being. They had a very, very deep connection,” the source continued. “They brought each other a lot of joy and laughter.”

The Logan Lucky star seems more at ease with her romance with Emilio than ever before.

So who is this mysterious chef?

Emilio is based in New York, working for his father Emilio Vitolo Sr. at Emilio’s Ballato restaurant in SoHo.

Regular A-listers who attend the restaurant include Whoopi Goldberg, Rihanna, Joe Jonas, Justin Bieber and Bradley Cooper.

The young chef calls Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner friends, often uploading photos with them to his social media.

Emilio’s good looks are a testament of his heritage, an Italian father and Peruvian mother.

However, being a chef to the stars isn’t his only job. Emilio is a budding actor, appearing in shows such as Royal Pains and Inside Amy Schumer.

His next role, according to IMDB, include the film The Birthday Cake, starring Ewan McGregor and Val Kilmer.

The chef/actor was previously engaged to designer Rachel Emmons, but it didn’t work out.

Katie Holmes shares 14-year-old daughter Suri Cruise with ex-husband Tom Cruise. She was born in 2006, the same year she married Cruise. Katie and Tom were divorced in 2012.
