Just mates: Karl Stefanovic supported by blogger Sofia Levin in Sydney

HE is in the midst of a messy and much-publicised divorce.

But Today co-host Karl Stefanovic has been out and about with the support of his friends, pictured spending time with food blogger Sofia Levin.

Levin, 27, is engaged and has previously made it clear she is not romantically involved with Stefanovic, 42, stating they are just friends.

The pair were hanging out together in Sydney, where Stefanovic picked Levin up in his Mercedes, according to photos obtained by New Idea.

Stefanovic and Levin — who is engaged to a Sydney restranteur — were at the QT Hotel in Bondi with Stefanovic’s brother, 60 minutes reporter Peter Stefanovic, 34, and his fiance, Today newsreader Sylvia Jeffreys, 30.

Levin was said to have been in Sydney for at least five days, and posted snaps on her Instagram account.

After his split from wife Cassandra Thorburn was splashed in the headlines, Stefanovic is taking a complete break from TV for at least a month over the summer.

In late September it was revealed that Stefanovic and Thorburn had separated after 21 years of marriage.

The pair has three children.

Speaking to Women’s Day last week, Levin laughed off any suggestion she was dating Stefanovic.

“It’s not true at all, we’re just friends,” she told the magazine.

They met on the set of Today when Levin appeared in a cooking segment with celebrity chef Luke Mangan.

“We’re just mates and have stayed in contact since that shoot,” she said.
