Julia Fox’s brutal statement as she and Kanye break up: ‘I wasn’t in love’

Kanye West and Julia Fox have broken up – and now the actress has publicly revealed she “hustled” Kanye and was never in love with him.

Kanye West’s intense six-week relationship with Julia Fox is officially over – and the actress has dubbed herself a “#1 hustler” who “wasn’t in love” with Kanye in a series of blistering statements on social media.

“Julia and Kanye remain good friends and collaborators,” Uncut Gems actress Fox’s representative said in a statement to Page Six, “but they are no longer together.”

However, Fox, 32, went into more detail in since-deleted Instagram Stories, railing against tabloid outlet the Daily Mail for publishing photos suggesting she was crying over the break-up.

“I haven’t cried since 1997 and I especially wouldn’t cry over THIS!!!” she captioned a screenshot of the article. “If anything I’ve been laughing more than before.”

In another since-deleted Instagram story, Fox claimed that the media are trying to paint her as a crying, heartbroken woman over her sudden split from West, 44. “Why not see me for what I am which is a #1 hustler. I came up yall lol and not only that but Kanye and I are on good terms! I have love for him but I wasn’t in love w the man Jesus Christ what do you guys think I am 12 years old?”

She claimed the only time she had cried so far this year was on the anniversary of a dead friend’s birthday – and teased that celeb-watchers keen to hear more about her whirlwind relationship with Kanye would “have to buy the book when it comes out.”

The pair began dating on New Years Eve, with Fox giving a magazine interview days into their relationship describing their first date in detail and sharing candid photos of the two together. Since then, they haven’t stayed out of the headlines, with a recent report claiming the pair were in an open relationship: “Their bond transcends typical norms because they’re evolved beings who just want each other to be happy,” a source close to Fox told Page Six.

But West and Fox’s split after six very public weeks of dating comes as the rapper’s behaviour has grown increasingly erratic in recent days, targeting estranged wife Kim Kardashian and her new boyfriend, Pete Davidson, on social media.

Kanye shared a headless photo of Pete and Kim holding hands on his social media and wrote: “LOOK AT THIS D**KHEAD,” and later shared a private text from Davidson with his 11m Instagram followers.

West has also made bizarre public attacks on everyone from Billie Eilish to Kid Cudi to members of the Kardashian family in recent days. He made an unusual appearance in the audience at yesterday’s Super Bowl, his two eldest children in tow and his entire face covered with a black mask. He was booed by the crowd when he appeared on the stadium’s big screens.

As Kanye’s attacks escalated, ex Kim Kardashian opened up about her split in an interview in the latest issue of Vogue magazine earlier this month.

“For so long, I did what made other people happy,” Kardashian, 41, told the outlet. “And I think in the last two years I decided, I’m going to make myself happy.

“And that feels really good. And even if that created changes and caused my divorce, I think it’s important to be honest with yourself about what really makes you happy. I’ve chosen myself. I think it’s okay to choose you.”
