Johnny Depp, Amber Heard trial: Depp calls Heard’s claims ‘insane, ludicrous, savage, cruel’ and ‘all false’

Johnny Depp railed against Amber Heard and Elon Musk in texts the actor himself admitted in court today were “horrific” to read.

What happens to Amber Heard if Johnny Depp wins defamation trial?

WARNING: Explicit language

Amber Heard visibly welled up as an expletive-laden email reportedly from Johnny Depp was read out where he allegedly described her as a “gold digging, low life,” who he couldn’t “wait to have her out of my life” and that he had met a “sublime little Russian”.

In other texts read out in court, Depp threatened to cut of Elon Musk’s manhood - referring to the Tesla CEO as “mollusck.”

Depp was back on the stand on Wednesday. While at times his testimony appeared rambling, he pulled it together to slam Heard’s claims of violence labelling them “outlandish, insane, ludicrous, savage, cruel,” and “all false”.

He also said that Heard’s fears he had attacked his former girlfriend, supermodel Kate Moss were “all in her head,” and that he helped her get the role in Aquaman.

Additionally, he alleged that Heard had planted a “shiner” on him during a trip on the Orient Express luxury train in Thailand.

Depp had already faced lengthy questioning from both sides in the trial at the Fairfax County Courthouse in Virginia, close to Washington DC.

Heard’s team has said they might call him back to the stand but decided against doing so. However Depp’s own lawyers made the decision to bring him back to rebut some of the claims put by witnesses since he first took the stand

Heard is being sued by Depp for $US50million ($A67m) for implying he abused her in a 2018 Washington Post op-ed. Although she did not name him, he claims her allegations are false and cost him lucrative movie roles.

Heard has countersued, asking for $US100 million ($A134m) and claiming she suffered “rampant physical violence and abuse” at his hands but was defamed when claims were made that she had manufactured the allegations.

Vile Depp text that brought Heard to tears

Cross examining Depp, Heard’s lawyer read out an eye-opening 2016 text allegedly from Depp to his former talent agent Christian Carino in which he said Heard was “begging for total global humiliation.”

“She’s gonna get it.

“I have no mercy, no fear and not an ounce of emotion, or what I once thought was love for this gold digging, low level, dime a dozen, mushy, pointless dangling overused flappy fish market …”

“I’m so f***ing happy she wants to go to fight this out!!! She will hit the wall hard!!!

“And I cannot wait to have this waste of a c** guzzler out of my life!!!”

Depp said he hed “met a f***ing sublime little Russian here … which made me realise the time I blew on that 50 cent stripper … I wouldn’t touch her with a goddamn glove.”

He also made threats about billionaire Elon Musk, who he referred to as “Mollusk.” “Let’s see if Mollusk has a pair,” he wrote, referring to his rival’s manhood.

“Come see me face-to-face … I’ll show him things he’s never seen before … Like, the other side of his d**k when I slice it off.”

Heard could be seen welling up and grimacing as the text was slowly read out.

Heard dated Musk after she split from Depp in May 2016, and Depp has accused her of cheating with the billionaire during their marriage.

In other texts read out in court that even Depp himself acknowledged were “horrific”, he wrote of Heard: “I can only hope karma kicks in and takes the gift of breath from her.”

Heard smiles as Depp claims he helped with film role

During the trial, Heard had said Depp had not assisted her in getting a role in the film Aquaman.

“It’s not exactly true,” Depp said today.

He was asked when Heard first auditioned for Aquaman.

His response was a long, rambling, anecdote about how he remembered the date as it coincided with the day of a gig for his band.

Heard could be seen looking puzzled and a times smiling as Depp recounted the evening. Finally, after around two minutes, Depp said the date was September 24.

He said that at Heard’s request he spoke to three Warner Brothers executives to help her land the Aquaman role.

“She did get the job and so hopefully I suppose I had curbed their worries to some degree”.

Depp: Moss abuse ‘all in Heard’s mind’

Earlier in the day, the court had heard from British supermodel Kate Moss who was questioned about a specific incident in Jamaica referenced in the trial by Heard. That involved a rumour Depp had thrown Moss down a flight of stairs while they were in a relationship.

Moss had flatly denied any such incident occurred. “He never pushed me kicked me or threw me down any stairs”.

Depp also pushed back on the allegation.

“Ms Heard took the story and turned it into a very ugly incident, all in her mind.

“There was never a moment where I pushed Kate down any set of stairs. Yet (Heard) has spewed this three times before”.

Depp: Heard gave me a ‘shiner’

However, Depp did claim Heard had hit him on the luxury Orient Express train during their honeymoon.

“Something would become dissatisfactory for her and she would start the rant, the blooming of a fight, and one point I remember I took a pretty good shot to the face, to the eye, so I had a bit of a shiner.

“But it all ended and then we would go to dinner and it was all fine”.

The jurors were show a picture from the train and one from Singapore were, it’s claimed by Depp, a black eye was visible.

However, Heard’s team questioned whether the grainy images did indeed show a black eye or whether it was simply a shadow across his face.

He also described his version of the events of 2015 when he severed his finger after a row at their rented apartment in Australia.

Heard said Depp injured himself ripping a phone off the wall. In contrast, Depp said Heard threw two bottles at him. One went over his head while another hit his and that was resting on the bar, he said.

“I miss it,” he said of the tip of his finger.

Depp was asked about his drug use and denied he ever took eight to 10 MDMA pills in one night, as has been mentioned.

“No I haven’t, because I’d be dead”.

Heard’s accusations ‘insane, ludicrous, brutal, cruel’

A central part of Heard’s case is that she was defamed by Depp via his former lawyer Adam Waldron.

A number of news articles have been published where Mr Waldron made various comments about Heard including calling her alleged abuse at the hands of Depp a “hoax”.

But Depp said he had never seen the comments when they were published and many of them he only saw when Heard had filed her countersuit. He said the comments seemed like a “lot of word salad to me”.

In the courtroom, Heard could be seen smiling and shaking her head at the comments.

Depp was asked what it had been like listening to Heard’s characterisation of him during the trial.

“It’s insane to hear heinous accusations of sexual violence that she’s accused me off.

“I don’t think anyone enjoys going to split themselves open and tell the truth but one just simply has to because it’s gotten out of control,” Depp said.

“It’s horrible, humiliating, ludicrous, painful, savage, imaginably brutal and cruel.

“And all false”.
