Joe Jonas’ surprise move amid reports of divorce from Sophie Turner

Just hours after reports of Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s alleged split broke, fans were left confused by the singer’s onstage act.

Joe Jonas had fans scratching their heads after being spotted wearing his wedding ring during a concert in Texas amid news that he and his wife, actress Sophie Turner, are heading for divorce.

An attendee, who goes by @lonelykevinstan on X (formerly known as Twitter), captured footage of the Jonas Brothers member rocking out onstage at the Moody Center in Austin with the gold band noticeably on his ring finger while holding his microphone, reports Page Six.

The sighting came shortly after another fan posted a tweet asking, “Is his ring on?” as speculation about Jonas and Turner’s relationship swirled online.

Another person quickly chimed in, verifying he had his ring on.

Many Jonatics, as Jonas Brothers fans are known, previously noticed that the musician had not worn his ring during recent tour stops in Dallas and St. Paul, Minnesota — shows that Turner did not attend.

Reports of the couple’s impending divorce has stunned fans.

However, the Game of Thrones star was seen dancing in the crowd at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, New York, for the opening night of the JoBros’ tour on August 12. She has not been present for any concerts since.

Jonas also sang a love song he wrote for his wife during Sunday’s concert, after fans waiting with bated breath to see whether the band would keep Hesitate on their usual 67-song setlist.

Once the 2019 track began playing toward the end of the night, the audience erupted with excitement, as seen in videos shared on social media.

The DNCE frontman previously described Hesitate as a “love letter” to Turner, explaining in the Jonas Brothers’ 2020 Happiness Continues concert film, “It’s like my vows before I wrote my vows. It’s my promise to Sophie.”

The ballad includes poignant lyrics like “I promise we’ll figure this out” and “I thank the oceans for giving me you,” the latter of which is a nod to the actress being born in England.

The singer performed his ballad for his wife during his most recent performance.

Jonas, 34, and Turner, 27, eloped in May 2019 and share two young daughters, but they have been going through “serious problems” for nearly six months, according to TMZ.

The DNCE frontman has reportedly been the main caretaker of their children — even while touring with his brothers Nick Jonas and Kevin Jonas.

Joe allegedly had his team meet with two Los Angeles-area divorce lawyers, with People reporting that he has retained one of them.

“Joe is exploring the best options for his future,” a source told Page Six earlier on Sunday.
