Jodie Foster marries girlfriend Alexandra Hedison, Ellen DeGeneres’ ex

JODIE Foster has reportedly tied the knot with girlfriend Alexandra Hedison, the ex of talk show host Ellen DeGeneres.

JODIE Foster has reportedly tied the knot with girlfriend Alexandra Hedison.

Hedison, who dated Ellen DeGeneres for three years, got married to the Oscar-winning actor last weekend, E! Online reported.

The entertainment website said the pair had been dating since last summer and were photographed together at a technology seminar at Fox Studios in Los Angeles and out to dinner with friends a few days later. They were also reportedly seen at the opening of Alan Cumming’s Macbeth in New York.

Hedison split from talk show host DeGeneres in 2004.

She is a successful photographer and has also starred in the hit lesbian drama series, The L Word, for three seasons.

In accepting Cecil B. DeMille Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Globes last year the famously private Foster made a rare comment about her sexuality saying she did her “coming out a thousands years ago, in the Stone Age”.
