James Franco jokes about marrying Lana Del Rey, report says he is living with Scott Haze

JAMES Franco has hit out at a gossip site for suggesting he could be gay, after teasing fans by claiming he married Lana Del Rey.

JAMES Franco has hit out at a gossip site for suggesting he could be gay, after teasing fans by suggesting he married Lana Del Rey.

Responding to an article on Gawker titled James Franco Is Living With A Man, which picked up on a report he was sharing an apartment with his Child of God co-star Scott Haze, Franco posted on Instagram: “GAWKER - always getting the cutting edge, homophobic scoop!!!”.

The Gawker post was based on a New York Times article that noted the two men – described as being “so close that describing them merely as friends would be a disservice” – were living together in Brooklyn for the summer.

“Go see CHILD OF GOD in theaters and see me direct my live-in boyfriend, SCOTT HAZE!!!” Franco wrote. “Love you SCOTT!!!!”

As if that weren’t enough for fans hoping to shack up with Franco themselves, the 36-year-old posted a another photo to Instagram overnight suggesting he had tied the knot with Del Rey.

“Oh snap, we got married. JUST KIDDING!!!” he captioned the picture.
