It’s over! Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff have broken up: reports

GIRLS creator Lena Dunham and her musician boyfriend Jack Antonoff have reportedly ended their relationship.

LENA Dunham and Jack Antonoff have broken up after “growing apart”, a source claims.

The Girls creator and star, 31, and Bleachers musician, 33, ended their five-year relationship in December, according to E!.

The former couple has made no public statement about their split, which “was mutual,” a source told E!.

“Jack and Lena were growing apart and it just made sense for them to end their relationship where it was,” the source said.

Antonoff — who has written hit songs for Taylor Swift and Lorde — is due to tour Down Under next month with his band, Bleachers.

A source told E! the split was amicable for the couple, who split their time between Brooklyn and Hollywood.

“They want the best for each other no matter what. They are both moving on,” the source said, according to E!

In October, Dunham gushed about Antonoff to Variety: “It’s safe to say that before Jack my life was full of far fewer sights”.

“He showed me the importance of making political statements using your public platform. He showed me the joy of collaboration.”
