TROUBLED star Katie Price has had a roller coaster love life, including three marriages and disastrous romances with several sports stars.

KATIE Price’s rehab treatment includes getting therapy to cure her of ‘crap men’, as doctors have said she’s attracted to sociopaths.

The 40-year-old’s had a roller coaster love life, which includes three marriages and several doomed romances with sports stars, The Sun reports.

Her last husband Kieran Hayler, 31, was caught cheating with her best friend Jane Pountney and a teenage shop assistant.

Now Katie’s being treated as a day patient at The Priory, she’s feeling much better, according to friends.

One told The Sun Online: “Rehab has been really good for Katie, she said she wishes she’d done it years ago. She reckons it would have saved herself a few years of ‘crap men’, as she calls it.

“Psychologists have told Katie that she attracts sociopaths, not necessarily bad ones, just men who are very friendly on the surface, but, ultimately, are fake and emotionless on the inside.

“They feel that she attracts them because she’s a narcissist herself and needs to work on her own personality every day, or she’ll find herself detached from the real world.

“They have been working with her on ways to identify a sociopath and abusive behaviour in a person. She has been told even if a man tells you your top is too low, unless you have asked for his opinion, then that is abusive. She needs to take control of her life and not rely on being in a relationship.”

Katie spent some quality time with her children Princess, Bunny and Jett over the weekend after four days at The Priory.

Another source said: “They headed down to Brighton for a riding competition. Katie loves her horses and loves the freedom riding gives her so it was brilliant for her to get back in the saddle. The kids rode as well and they had a fabulous time together.

“For Katie, the only way is up at the moment and she feels on top of the world.”

The Sun Online has contacted a representative for Katie for comment.

In recent months, Katie’s problems haven’t just been men, as she’s only weeks away from possibly being made bankrupt unless she comes up with a plan to pay off $AU 270,000 worth of debts, at least half of which are mortgage arrears.

But Katie’s been told that she needs to face her problems alone for a while, rather than keep running into the arms of another guy. Currently, she’s dating businessman Alex Adderson, 25, her second toyboy after she ditched the first, personal trainer Kris Boyson, 28.

The friend added: “They think her main problem is that she can’t be on her own and she must learn to enjoy time being single because it will bring her peace of mind otherwise she will go from one disastrous relationship to another.

“She’s also met an older lady there who is in rehab for alcoholism and Kate said this lady reminds her of her mum Amy and Kate has been confiding in her. She is desperate to find a mother figure to hold onto for when her own mum passes.”
