Hamish Blake quizzed over rumours of Carrie Bickmore, Tommy Little romance

Unconfirmed rumours have been swirling around Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little for weeks. Hamish has been roped in to explain.

The 51-year-old shock jock grilled fellow radio star Hamish Blake on the Kyle and Jackie O Show Thursday morning about ongoing whispers Carrie Bickmore is dating her drive co-host Tommy Little.

Neither Bickmore nor Little have commented on the rumours, which have been swirling for weeks, and were further fuelled by a bizarre Instagram post from her ex-partner Chris Walker last month.

On-air this morning, without hesitation, Sandilands asked Blake, “You’d know this, is Tommy Little having an affair with Carrie Bickmore?”

Blake, who is close friends with Little’s roommate John, watered down the suggestion.

“John is my best mate and he is terrible at keeping secrets so, there’s no way, I definitely would have heard about it,” the two-time Gold Logie winner said.

Jackie ‘O’ Henderson also denied the reports, though didn’t divulge on her source.

“No this is definitely not the case … I just know,” Henderson added.

It comes after the former The Project host and Walker, who is an executive producer for ABC’s The Weekly with Charlie Pickering, announced their separation in January after 10 years together.

Reports have since suggested Bickmore, 42, has been growing closer to her radio co-host Little, 38. Walker did little to quell such whispers after posting – and since deleting – a bizarre photo of the trio on Instagram in March.

The 2018 shot, which was a promotional photo for the Carrie & Tommy drive show, featured Walker caressing a then pregnant Bickmore (who was carrying the couple’s child, Adelaide), with Little standing behind them as a third wheel figure. Bickmore and Walker’s first child Evie was also in the shot, as well as Bickmore’s son, Oliver, who she welcomed with her late husband Greg Lange.

Chris Walker uploaded this photo to his Instagram last month, without explaining why.

Walker didn’t provide a caption for the photo, leading many to wonder what he was implying by posting it publicly.

Walker and Bickmore met on the set of The Project in 2012, two years after Lange died of brain cancer.

He became a stepfather to Bickmore and Lange’s son, Ollie, and in 2015, the couple welcomed their first child together – a daughter Evie.

Three years later, they became parents once more with the arrival of another girl, Adelaide, in late 2018.

Bickmore quit The Project in November after 13 years, before re-signing with the Hit Network alongside Little for another four years.
