Gillian Anderson back with Peter Morgan after dramatic split

It’s been a tumultuous 2021 for Gillian Anderson. After her ex Peter Morgan swiftly shacked up with another woman, there’s been a new update to the saga.

The Crown Season 4: What's fact and what's fiction?

The Crown’s Gillian Anderson has “won back her boyfriend Peter Morgan”, it has been reported.

The actress, 52, split from British screenwriter and playwright Peter, 57, after four years together in December.

At the time, one publication reported that their relationship had “run its course” after busy working schedules and family logistics.

Despite the seemingly amicable break-up, Gillian was said to be “shocked” at the speed at which Peter had moved on and in with socialite Jemima Khan last month.

However it’s now emerged that Peter has ditched Jemima following a whirlwind month-long romance and is back with the Golden Globe winner.

A friend of Jemima’s told The Daily Mail: “Peter pursued her, rather than the other way around. He persuaded her that they would be great together, but has now gone back to Gillian.

“This has happened in the past week. She is pretty knocked for six about it.

“He had said he was serious about Jemima and she was certainly serious about the romance with him.”

The publication also reports that Peter has flown to Prague in the Czech Republic to be with Gillian.

In December, it was reported that Gillian and Peter had split after four years together.

They worked alongside one another on the latest episodes of the Netflix drama The Crown based on the royal family – and were hugely supportive of each other’s careers.

They were often seen together at the awards season circuits in London and Los Angeles to cheer each other on.

Both have children from previous relationships and never moved in together.

However, Peter was reported to have blindsided Gillian when he began dating Jemima weeks after their split.
